Not quite a shawl, not quite a cowl, but something in between.

Supplies needed: about 175 yards of some yummy aran weight yarn, a size 10US 6mm 24-inch circular needle
Gauge is not really important, but mine was about 3 st. per inch.

skills needed: knit, purl, m1 (make one)

Cast on 105 stitches as loosely as possible. join in the round, place an EOR marker.

Knit 3 rounds
Purl one round
Knit three rounds
Next round: *K5, M1, repeat to EOR
Knit three rounds
Next round: *K6, M1, repeat to EOR
Knit three rounds
next round: *k7, m1, repeat to EOR
knit three rounds
next round: *k8, m1, repeat to EOR
knit until showl measures 1 inch shy of desired length. As you finish a round, m1 before the marker. Work the next four rounds in k1p1 ribbing, then bind off in pattern.

I thought I'd start this blog to discuss my knitting, write up patterns, and talk about fun stuff happening in my new etsy store. :) Thanks for stopping by!
